Hi there family/friends/strangers.

For those that know me closely will already know. But for those that don't, me and my sister were both adopted in to a very loving family when we were both baby's.

I consider myself to be very lucky to have been adopted by such loving parents and extended family.

I couldn't have asked for more from my adopted parents. Unfortunately when I was 10 years old my adopted mum passed away. I strongly believe I wouldn't be the kind,careing,selfless person I am today without them being in my life.

So I am running the marathon I'm memory of my amazing mother Moira Roberts. In the hope that with the money I raise I can help other baby's/children be as fortunate as I have been in finding such a loving and kind family.

I am also running this marathon in memory of one of my best friends Jamie Kirkpatrick who was killed out in Afghanistan 5 years ago. I know if he was still with us today he would be running by my side. ELE

And also for all other family members that Iv lost along the way, that have been so important in making me the person I am today.
