In memory of Rob Smith

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

In September 2013 Robert Smith one of our younger players at only 20 years old, lost his life following a tragic road accident. Rob as he was known to all in the club had become a popular player and had fitted into the first team well. The players and coaching staff thought very highly of Rob`s talents and he had a promising future with the club. 10 months ago Rob played a part in the club`s success in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff winning the SWALEC Plate . He was a true gentleman. We miss him greatly .

Due to the involvement of The Wales Air Ambulance at the scene of Rob's traffic accident we have decided to raise money for them in honour of our dear friend , Club member and fellow teammate. We hope to raise an amount worthy of a great man , who was a loving son of Garry and Catherine and loving big brother to Andrew.
