GSC Grays choose two lead charities each year to raise funds for and this year the Great North Air Ambulance and Yorkshire Air Ambulance .

An exciting opportunity arose to enter this sportive, which for cycling enthusiasts is a massive thrill to be involved at the same time as the pro teams who are riding the third and final stage of the tour later on the same day.

As a huge fan of cycling, and as a frustrated Bradley Wiggins, it is a real thrill to be involved in the first event of this type in Yorkshire.
