Story
Nobody should face a mental health problem alone. Mind is a mental health charity who have been in existence for over 70 years. Although their name has changed throughout the years, their goal remains a constant in offering advice and information to those who suffer with mental health difficulties across the country. Mind was chosen by Matt Williams who has previously raised funds for the organisation whilst a student at Warwickshire College and was delighted when his charity of choice was chosen by Fuel as one of three charities for 2019 / 2020.
One of the main factors that Mind strive to achieve is to further raise public awareness, people’s understanding of what is a mental illness and how you could help someone in need. The money that we raise for Mind will be used to help people with mental health problems get support and respect. It will be used to fund much needed supported housing, floating support schemes, care homes, drop-in centres and self-help support groups.
As of 2018, Mind’s logo features on 72 clubs in the English Football League which is a clear indication of what a reputable organisation they are. They are a fantastic charity and we would love your support in helping them to help others.
