Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting my donation page,i am climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro towards the end of November this year not because it is the fancy thing to do outside the office;but rather,it is the right thing to do as a young person with a disability.

I head an organization called Action Network for the Disabled (www.andy.or.ke) that creates opportunities for hundreds of young disabled people across Kenya.We also partner with progressive charities and organizations like AbleChildAfrica to reach the most marginalized of this target group.

The reason i decided to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro as a person who has a disability is to demonstrate that indeed what all of us need is just an opportunity and support to make it in life.There are tens of people who have supported me in different ways and that is why i am where i am today and this is my opportunity to support my peers to make it in life.

Sometimes official funding is hard to come by and as a person interested in what i am doing because i can see its impact,i am nolonger going to sit in the comfort of my office but rather go out there to seek this support that will enable ANDY reach thousands of young disabled people in Kenya.

All of us cannot definately make it to the mountain, this is why i am encouraging you to support me realize my goal because in doing that,we will be able to provide employment,education,training,mentoring and many opportunities that are not currently available to young disabled people in Kenya.
