Story

Success! In a monsoon.

Despite all and the most appalling weather we got round and enjoyed it.

There is amazing money donated through this site and the related site from other Franks team members and we are very grateful.

We've also listed the £7,000 donated off line by the Peter Vardy Foundation to match our other earnings. He's also donating £3,000 to Alzheimer's society in support of the GNR teams. Just amazing generosity and support, thank you.

There's a couple more events to come, not least being the Great North Run with over 35 runners so hopefully we are making a significant donation to this very important charity.

Please keep donating!

FRANK 'S TEAM

Frank, is 81 and maybe for 10 years or more Alzheimer's has been taking away the very things that built his life, his maths, his logic, his memory, his rational analysis and his independence.

So some friends, family and other good people have joined to form "Frank's Team" to undertake a number of challenges and events and make some real money over the next year For Alzheimer's research.

The bigest challenge, probably, is 100 miles of the London Olympic bike route. 5 to 7 hours of hard, hard work after weeks of training. Some of us haven't done any proper cycling so get sponsoring for a great cause!
