Why have I chosen to join the FireFlies again? It's pretty simple, I like many others have experienced first hand the devastating effect cancer can have on a family. I lost my dad to cancer 13 years ago. He battled for 7 years, never once giving up or failing to believe he could beat it. In comparison, riding a bike up some bloody big hills for 6 days straight seems like a walk in the park. I know from previous experience I'm under estimating how hard this ride will be. But it will be no way as hard as fighting cancer.
