Hi all.
I hope we find you well.
I am organising a bicycle ride, to raise money for the Pilgrims Hospice, a charity that provides excellent palliative care for patients with advanced illnesses.
My mother's mother, Claire O'Connor, recently received great care and treatment there, in her last few weeks of life.
All staff and volunteers do a brilliant job of ensuring patients are comfortable, and that friends and relatives are supported and helped with the day to day care of their loved ones.
My friend, Simon Ledger, and I are keen to raise money for this most superb charity, by undertaking the challenge of riding our vintage bicycles over 200 miles in two days, from our home town of Faversham, in Kent, to Bognor Regis, and back the following day.
We are both keen cyclists, though we have never undertaken a challenge such as this before, though we're certain to give it a good go!
If you are able, please do donate and help us reach our goal of raising five hundred pounds.
