Story

Hi there and thanks for looking at this page for our up and coming challenge.

We all work for a company called Broadoak Construction and we have put a team together to endure the 3 peaks challenge. That is, climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfell and Snowdonia all in a period of 24 hours, a total of 3400m. Starting with Ben Nevis at 12 noon for a 5 hour hike, then driving down to Scarfell Pike for a 4 and a half hour hike (this one through the night finishing at 3am!!!) and finishing off with Snowdonia at 8am through to mid-day on the Sunday.

Our team consists of our staff who are currently all site based on a project called Queen Annes Chambers in London, and who are Iain (Project Manager) Jeff and Joss (site managers),  Emma (Health & Safety - we will need a risk assessment doing!), Carl (QS) and Lukas (Site Security)

We must emphasize that it is a challenge, as we have signed up to this with less than 7 weeks for training and if you looked at us, well lets just say we are not at the peak of our physical fitness ! Ha ha Ha - We will put some photo's up on this page so you can have a laugh at us !!

The charity we are donating to is the Stickler Syndrome Support Group. This charity is close to our hearts as Emma's son is registered blind and has been helped immensley by this organisation. So it really is a very good cause.

Please donate generously, any amount at all is a help to this organisation, and any messages of luck and encouragement  to us will also be gratefully received, because I think we will definately need it !

Thank you
