This will be my first "official" 10K and I couldn't have done it without the support of my good friend and collegue, Uzay.

We've started running together and she has pushed me to accomplish more and run farther than I've ever run before. Her belief in my ability to complete a 10K was my reason for registering and the catalyst for my ability to complete it (Inshallah, habibi!)

Uzay will not be running with me so this run is for a charity that she has chosen; hopefully it will be like she's running right next to me, pushing me to complete my 10K!

Please help me say thanks and show gratitude for all of those who make our lives better by raising money to support families with children who struggle with heart disorders. From my heart to your heart to the hearts of children and families in need.
