Story
We (Emily, Maisie, Kathryn and Sacha) are hiking the Yorkshire three peaks in 24 hours to help raise awareness and support for those affected by M.E., a cause important to our group (as it affects Emily's sister). The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge includes Pen-y-Ghent (694metres), Whernside (736metres) and Ingleborough (723metres), totalling 39.2km. The money we raise will then be donated to 'Action for M.E.', a charity which is dedicated to helping those diagnosed. M.E. is a long-term neurological condition which affects around 250,000 people in the UK alone, with symptoms affecting the brains ability to recover after exerting even small amounts of energy.
