Project Myemyela · 11 October 2016

We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

In Easter 2017 I will be travelling to rural Lephepane, Limpopo, South Africa to build a nursery school. I will be working with a group of students and staff from the department of Architecture & Built Environment at the University of Nottingham who've joined together to raise money. It is one of the poorest, least developed parts of the country, with high levels of unemployment.

Our target for the project is to raise £37,000.

Your donation will help provide a bright, clean and safe environment for teaching basic skills, play and music to village children. It will also provide employment for the local women who teach in the nursery school, cook meals, wipe noses and sing and play with the kids.
