Story
“It’s scary what a smile can hide.”
The battle with mental health is a very real one. We’ve all been affected by it in one way or another and it can make us feel so alone and helpless.
For some, everything becomes too much, especially without the right support, and they sadly lose their battle in the most tragic way.
Mind are a wonderful charity who try to help individuals to find the right support and advice to help them fight their battle and to know they are not alone.
This year, I am running (and I use the term ‘running’ very loosely) the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October to raise money for this amazing charity.
Having personally suffered with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, and having seen loved ones suffer too, this is a cause very close to my heart and I’m so proud to be trying to do a little bit to help others and this amazing cause.
Any little bit you can spare to help get me to my £2000 target will be so very appreciated and help keep me moving along the 26.2 miles. The aim is to finish before they reopen the roads so fingers crossed!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page & for your support.
