Next September I will be going to Africa in order to climb Kilimanjaro! Yes, I know many do not associate huge physical challenges (you most likely think of lazy so and so) with the name Ella Godwin but this I aim to change. I will be raising money for a Charity called "Enhance" and any money raised will go towards the Lister Special Care Baby Unit.

I would like to specially mention my cousin and her family who went through a very worrying time during the birth of their son Harvey. I am pleased to report that he has progressed extremely well and has recently celebrated his 1st birthday :) Please take the time to watch the video that documents his journey so you can see just how hard some babies have to fight.

Kilimanjaro rises 5895m at its tallest point and is the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Temperatures range from 40 degrees Celsius at the base to -25 at the summit so I will be going from extreme to extreme trekking through both rainforests and glaciers! 

So please dig deep and donate what ever you can spare, because it is going to be a huge challenge and your support will be extremely appreciated by both myself, my chosen charity "Enhance Herts" and the families that will benefit from the money you give.
