Whilst the latter remains true, most of you will also be very surprised to hear
I have purchased a pro road bike and on June 13 this year, I will be embarking on a
6 day 400 mile / 644 kilometre cycle from
Leeds, UK, all the way to PARIS!
Our team is made up of 45 young, vibrant and enthusiastic Leeds University students from the Raise and Give society, and together we're looking to
meet and beat our fundraising targets to make a solid contribution to the wonderful organisation that is
Save the Children.

Save the Children currently works in
120 countries - saving children's
lives, fighting for their
rights, and helping them
fulfil their potential. The organisation strives to
improve the lives of children through better
education,
health care, and
economic opportunities, as well as providing
emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts.
By sponsoring my challenge you are making it possible for me to take part in this
incredible experience, and together we will make a
significant contribution to this incredible and crucial organisation.
How much is enough?
Absolutely anything! But here's an idea of what you can help to achieve:
*
£3 could pay for
life-saving treatment for
eight children with diarrhoea.
*
£25 could provide
"˜safe birth kits' for
three women giving birth at home.
*
£50 could buy
two hygiene kits with soap, towels and toothbrushes.
