Thanks for visiting my page - I am so grateful for anything that is donated - a pound is fine!

I am a first year music student at Huddersfield University.

I heard about this during my first week and thought it was a great opportunity, because of two things. Firstly; as I have never been in a marching band before (as I don't play brass) and secondly; or done a marathon (Although my parents can run the distance and me doing the London Marathon would shock them)!

The charity the band is raising money for is Sense which is a deafblind association. And really where would musicians be without their senses? I want to raise awareness for those who aren't as fortunate with their senses.People close to me will know I always wonder how it would be to hear music but not see beautiful sights or not hear but see the music and be frustrated as to how out of tune I would be etc.
