Story

After running Bristol Half Marathon last September for Meningitis Research Foundation I thought it would be "fun" to run another one?! Crazy? I think so. Especially as I've discovered I'm a fair weather runner - training for Bath Half in the winter has been hideous beyond belief - going out in the dark, cold windy weather is so not my cup of tea!

But it's all for a good cause, as you know Meningitis is something close to mine & my family's hearts after we lost my brother Michael to Meningitis in 1990. The work that Meningitis Research Foundation do is incredible and I would be extremely grateftul for any donations :)

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
