Hi everyone,

As most of you know running to the local shop is an effort for me but in the last wee while I have been getting more active in my old age and trying to pretend I dont have dodgy knees (I do and there is no denying it!) but Im not going to let that stop me putting in that extra bit of effort every week in getting prepared to get involved in the Race For Life to support Cancer Research.

Recently a close family family was touched by Myeloma and he is battling strong against the disease and fighting hard against its destructive nature. My race for life is for Fr. Morty and the millions of others around the globe who are also touched by the destructive nature of cancer in the hope that through research a cure can be found. 

Three amazing girls are joining me in this and I will have the privileged to be doing the 10K alongside Faye Midmore and Niamh Thompson. 

So...Please dig deep and support me in the Race for Life, whether its a few pounds or alot more pounds, it all adds up in the end and Cancer Research is a great cause. 

As always I am in a bartering mood so feel free to hold me to cooking you dinner, desert, free hugs and possibly a random knitted delight! Post in the comments and offer subject to collection ;) 

I will be posting this page on facebook, emailing people and asking face to face so bear with me and help me reach my target :)
