Ok, simply put I’m joining the Clipper Race. The Clipper Race is a round the world yacht race, covering 40,000 miles and visiting all continents. The race has 12, 70 foot purpose built yachts designed for racing around the world.  The race consists of 8 legs: London – Rio De Janero – Cape Town – Albany – Airlie Beach – Quingdao – Seattle – New York – London. The unique thing about this race is that you don’t have to be a sailor to join it. There are people who rock up to first level training who have never stepped on a yacht before.  This makes the race open to almost anyone globally who want to take a trip of a lifetime and get into sailing in the most intense kind of way.
