We are also raising money for the 'Help the Heroes' to commemorate  the passing of Daniel Probyn and other soldiers who have been affected by the war in Afghanistan.

On 26 May 2007, 3 Platoon, Number 3 Company, Grenadier
Guards out in Afghanistan were caught up in an improvised explosive device (IED) which resulted in the death of Daniel Probyn aged 22. Four other soldiers sustained a number of injuries, two of which have had leg amputations. Two ex-soldiers, Ashley O'Sullivan and Sean Brindley will be taking part to commemorate the loss of their friend and comrade.
