Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are driving 10,000 miles from London to Mongolia this summer, as part of the Mongol Rally 2015. We will endure 6 weeks of perilous roads, scorching heat, tempestuous mountain passes, and inevitable breakdowns in our 1995 Ford Fiesta, all for this great cause. We also promise not to have any fun at all whilst we do it... not even a bit... this is a purely selfless act.

Duncan's sister Hannah was diagnosed with Leukaemia at the age of three, underwent two rounds of chemotherapy, and fortunately made a full recovery. Sadly, not every patient is as lucky as her. Leukaemia is the most common form of cancer in childhood, and 11th most common form of cancer overall in the UK.

LLR uses the funds raised to co-ordinate research nationwide into the still unknown causes of Leukaemia and Lymphoma, influence healthcare policy to elevate patient care and comfort, and develop methods to diagnose these conditions earlier.

Thank you for supporting this fantastic cause, and helping us meet our goals. Please share your stories with us if you wish, and follow the action as it unfolds here -
