Story
My name is Frances and I work in the Wine Trade.
I've been working in wine for nearly 9 years and it has been the focus of my whole working life. It's a brilliant trade, full of wonderful people so it's formed a lot of my social life too.
To raise funds for Epilepsy action I wanted to do something challenging. Someone suggested going alcohol free for January. I thought 'Kids stuff. What about December?'
December is full of industry events, tastings, things I'm hosting and customer wine selection meetings and training sessions. December would be hard.
Which is why it's worth doing. No booze, not even spitting at a tasting. Nothing, and no exceptions.
If you see me in December - save that £3.70 for my pint and donate instead.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why Epilepsy Action?
My younger brother Max was diagnosed with Epilepsy when he was 9 years old, and he was never the same again. We struggled to come to terms with the complications which arose from his epilepsy, as his personality changed substantially.
Epilepsy Action helped my family in ways we did not expect. They provided information on a much misunderstood condition, gave us access to specialist nurses and gave the objective, sensible support and advice which we all needed.
Some of the work they do is to educate and inform the public on what Epilepsy is, how it affects people throughout their life and how the treatments are developed and utilised. This is why I have chosen to support them, and I hope you will help.
