Story
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We have increased the target yet again due to the wonderful response! Every little counts.
On the back of our very successful charity bike ride in June raising over £4,000, I have also done 10K run on 10th July and have decided to continue trying to reach my target of £6,000 for important platelet research into Pulmonary Fibrosis. It would be great if you could support this vital research project.
Many thanks to our friend, Lawrence Matz, for helping raise this money - we miss you.
Breathing Matters is the fund for the Centre for Respiratory Research, UCL (CRR). This fund is part of UCLH Charity (Reg No 229771).
The CRR is one of the world's leading respiratory research centres working towards the prevention, treatment and cure of respiratory diseases. It has been set up to raise awareness, provide patient support and help find a cure for Interstitial Lung Diseases such as Pulmonary Fibrosis and other respiratory infections such as Bronchiectasis and Pneumonia. These areas are currently under funded in the UK and we aim to raise awareness of these little known diseases.
