Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run 2016 · 7 October 2016 to 9 October 2016 ·
This event in its 50th year, involves driving from London to john o groats then to lands end and back to London in 48hrs a distance of 2000 miles. It started out with a few triumph enthusiasts and has run every 2yrs since. Its aim was and is to test and demonstrate the reliability of the Triumph cars. It is considered to be one of the most hard core classic car events around.
Over 2,000 miles round Britain in 48 hours means averaging over 40mph with only the most essential stops - time gates followed by fuel and food. All costs covered by the competitors - entry fees, £500 of fuel.
I plan along with colleagues to take my low mileage very original triumph 2500 saloon on this challenge.
This years charity we are raising money for is the Guide dogs.
All costs associated with the run (entry fee, fuel costs and all other expenses) will be covered by the team, ensuring that all funds donated will go directly to the charity via JustGiving
