Story

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page

We are members of the Technical Team from Gas Safe
Register consisting of myself Stephen Lombard, David Tomkin, David Smith, John, Stirling, Malcolm Greetham and Kirk Elwood. We are pleased to be involved in the 2016 Capita Step Challenge to raise as much money as we can for The Prince’sTrust.

Doug is Gas Safe’s cartoon Hero Gas Engineer used to promote Gas Safety, and now he’s been recruited as our lucky mascot in this challenge. As you can see he’s already got a grip of the situation!

As a team we are setting out to complete a virtual walk from The Prince’s Trust Southampton centre to the neighbouring Trust centres across the UK. The virtual route is approximately 881 miles, which is around 1,762,000 steps in four weeks; just over 10,000 steps a day for each team member. As well as raising money for a very worthy cause we hope to improve our fitness in the process. Thank you for your support and we are really grateful for your donation.
