Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What I'm doing - I'll be cycling 100 miles, along with thousands of other riders, from the Olympic Park through central London, out into Surrey, up some reasonably large hills, then back to London, ending up at the Mall many hours later.
Why I'm doing it - I like cycling, but I'm no middle-aged man in Lycra. Okay, I'm a middle-aged man, but I'm proud to say I own no Lycra. Although I ride regularly I rarely go more than 20 miles, so 100 miles will be a major challenge for me. But I'm not just trying to be Bradley Wiggins, I'm also raising money for Cancer Research.
Why you should sponsor me - Nearly all of us know someone who has suffered from cancer, but Cancer Research receives no government funding. All of its research is funded by donations.
Donating to Cancer Research through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
