Story
It is a sad fact that in this day and age torture, rape and sex trafficking still go on. Recently in Scotland a brothel, exploiting enslaved young girls, was closed down. These terrible acts of cruelty can destroy lives, but it is possible to make a difference.
The Helen Bamber Foundation is an amazing charity who works with survivors of human rights violations. Using alternative therapies such as art, yoga and music, they help to rebuild confidence and re-establish skills that the survivors can use to restore their lives.
I have contributed £850 to the cost of the challenge and aim to raise a further £2,000 for the Helen Bamber foundation. I would be grateful if you could help me meet this goal.
Thank you,
Donna Gilliard
