Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. MPD Support is an extremely important charity to me personally, as my husband Dominic is a sufferer.

 MPD stands for myeloproliferative disorders which are rare blood cancers. They can cause blood clots, heart attacks,leukaemia, bone marrow failure and sudden death. MPD Support is a charity which is not only funding the search for better treatments but also offers help and support to sufferers in the form of emotional support, patients' forums, buddie programmes- pairing up newly diagnosed patients with someone who can help and support them.

 I wanted to do something to help MPD Support as they have helped Dominic over the last two years. You hear the phrase "give something back" but it's not until you actually need this kind of support that it all makes sense. Not up for a bungey jump! I decided to have my head shaved and raise lots of money for this important charity.

Please help me, to help them, continue their support of the patients in their care.
