Together with 19 other Allen & Overy employees I have set myself the challenge of hiking 60 km across the mountainous landscapes of the Jordanian desert this September to raise £70000 for War Child.

The trek starts in the beautiful Dana Reserve and crosses the four biosphere climates of Jordan's largest nature reserve, finishing in the ancient 'Rose-Red City' of Petra. 

The four day trek starts on 14 September 2017, meaning the temperature will be extremely hot adding to the already challenging conditions of this 60km route across the mountainous desert. 

The money raised from the trek will go directly to support War Child's programs that provide protection, education and livelihood support for the most marginalised children who have been affected by conflict.
