Kennedy's Disease UK (KD-UK) is the only UK based charity raising funds to help raise awareness of this awful disease, which affects a very good friend of the riders.  We want to help make sure that this rare, often misdiagnosed disease is recognised as well as making people aware of the effect it has on sufferers, their families and their friends.  There is only one centre carrying out vital research in the UK and we hope that our efforts will help them find a cure.

The ride is entirely self-funded with all proceeds going straight to the charity.  It will be an enormous challenge over the 8 days of riding, covering 800kms and well over 20,000 metres of climbing, even for the more experienced riders.  They are giving not just their time, money and enhtusiasm to the cause, they are dedicating many months of training in preparation, well worth sponsoring them in return!
