Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Walking the Thames Path 100km Challenge last September has inspired me to try something completely different.  So ......

Five days and 200km dog sledding my own team of huskies across Swedish Lapland through snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes in February.  I'll be in a group of 10 people, guided by the Sami people of the region.  You all know I like the cold, it sounds the perfect holiday!  It will be -40˚C and I will sleep in a teepee.  Please help me raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Care.  This challenge is apparently not for the faint-hearted!  Well neither, I've no doubt, is being told you have breast cancer and living with the disease.  Believe me when I say I'm really not going for the fun of it!!  I'm finding it hard to think that I, of all people, can do this!
