In memory of Grandad Roberts

This is something Dexter has wanted to do for a long time, he has a real passion for raising money and awareness for midlands air ambulance! Anybody who doesn’t know our story and why this is so important to us and close to our hearts then this is a brief outline - Dexter’s grandad had a fall, he fell from the roof at home, fortunately we were at home and was able to get the care he needed - we had the crew from the air ambulance arrive and they were amazing, especially Dr Dave! Unfortunately there was nothing they could do for my dad due to the severed brain stem injury sustained, but with there expertise and care we all got to say good bye to him at hospital before we turned the life support machine off - heartbreaking and not the outcome we wanted but a comfort knowing we were all there in his final last moments - hence the passion Dexter has for this team, and the drive to become a doctor for them when he’s a big boy!!! Thank you every one of you from the bottom of my heart x x
