I'm a tuba player and have been for the last 15 years. Band Master of the 3rd Davyhulme Scout & Guide Band for the last 23 years has seen me march and play in some memorable places and events. Royal Albert Hall, NIA, NEC, Millennium Dome, Disneyland Paris, New Year's Day Parade, Calgary Stampede and on the Olympic Park, last year for the 2012 London Games.

To have the opportunity to march the Virgin London Marathon whilst raising funds for such a great charity is a dream.

I've recently ran the Blackpool Marathon and the Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford so understand just how far 26.2 miles is. This will be my 3rd London Marathon and probably the most memorable!
