This challenge is very close to my heart. Horses and Cancer. I am nearly 49 yrs old and I have never competed in a British Eventing one day event as I have never had the bottle to compete in all three disciplines, dressage, showjumping and cross country. Having had two cancer operations , you never know what's around the corner so there is no time like the present. I had originally hoped to complete my Challenge on Anto, my thoroughbred but having crashed and burned quite badly at our first attempt in 2018 at Chepstow I had to take the tough decision to retire him from jumping. A change of horse to Freya aka CB and a lot more training but we will get there🤞If you have read Hannah Francis's story, you will,  like me, be truly inspired by her and I want to raise money in her name as a way of a tribute to her.
