Story
Today over 800,000 people and their families live day to day with Alzheimers/dementia and this is expected to rise to over a million. Fundraising for this charity is vital, to help with earlier detection, education and awareness, intervention and support both medical and emotional and not forgetting further continued research.

Update 1: On Facebook 20/01/2015 In June, myself and Dillon (my youngest son) are going (yes actually going to walk) 50km - that's about 31 miles in old money - that's about 31 times around the route around the closes here that I now do every other day !! We are taking part in the Grand Union Canal Challenge, we'll start in Watford and walk to Bletchley (hopefully Ed will meet us there in the car!!). Last summer I did a leisurely walk with a friend and hadn't for a few months and felt so so unfit that I came home and said to Dillon (like you do) come on lets sign ourselves up for a walk, give ourselves a challenge. No turning back now ~ we've got the t-shirts ! I really hope you can get my Just - Giving page off to a start (Dillon's page is set up now too
www.justgiving.com/DillonPalmer - we each have to raise atleast £295 for Alzheimers), if all our friends and family gave just £1 each that's enough :)
