The Wimbledon Village Stables Sponsored Ride is the longest running, most successful ride in the country, raising nearly £1million over more than 40 years. It's a privilege to be part of this great event, knowing you're raising money for such a wonderful charity.  Adding to the fun, we all dress up in fancy dress and the entire stables (24 horses and riders) all parade through the village both on the way out and, 3 hours later, on the way back. It’s quite a spectacle and attracts an ever increasing crowd - all with their phones out taking photos and videos! 

I lost my beloved horse Rolo 7 years ago and this year decided the time was right to launch once more into the emotional rollercoaster of finding a new horse to love and care for.  It's taken a year, but we now have  a dear little soul who's settling in well. At only 15 hands, Zina is a Blue Roan Cob and a real 'pocket rocket'. She's never been to Richmond Park before, and it can get quite exciting, so this ride will be an interesting one!
