On January 7 2013 (3 days before my 50  Birthday) I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma. As you might imagine this turned not only my life, but that of my family and friends, upside down. It suddenly made us realise how precious each and every day was and evaluate what was important in our lives. Multiple Myeloma is an incurable blood cancer that forms in the bone marrow. Until recently very little research had been done into this type of cancer but as more and more people are being diagnosed and at a younger age, vital research is required if a cure is going to be found. I am personally grateful for every penny you can spare as this might just help find a cure in time to quite literaly save my life. - Thank you
