We fund research into muscle-wasting to improve the lives of everyone affected.

Story

As many of you already know, I have a very dear friend called Julie who has muscular dystrophy (MD). Although MS is well known, MD is less well known and more funding is needed to research into this debilitating condition.

The MD society is organising a tandem skydive event on the extra leap year day this year (February 29th) to raise money for research, and in the absence of finding someone I can ask to marry me on this date (as is the tradition for women to ask men to marry them on February 29th of a leap year for those of you who have wondered about this comment!!), I have decided to throw myself out of a perfectly good airoplane instead! :) Although I have tried many adventuous activities in the past, I have a real fear of heights, so this will be a real personal challenge for me so I hope you will support me in this and dig deep to raise money for this charity. I am paying the costs of the skydive myself so that all money I raise will go to the charity, so please give generously!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, your money is sent directly to the charity and please make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on your donation if you are a UK taxpayer. My page is www.justgiving.com/DebbieJordan64

Thank you!
