Following a family friend’s unexpected and sudden loss of their newborn daughter, we're joining Team Bea to both pay tribute to Bea’s memory and to raise money for Tommy’s baby charity.

Few people are aware that the number of women who lose a child during pregnancy is as high as one in four.  Tommy’s is a charity dedicated to helping families through these difficult times and funding research into identifying and preventing the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

Although for some people a half marathon may not seem like much of a challenge, for those of you who know us you’ll know these next few months of training will not be easy.  Anything you’re willing to donate will not only be hugely appreciated by the both of us, but more importantly by everyone working at Tommy’s and those families who can benefit from this life changing research.
