Story
Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have a special request and hope you will share my enthusiasm in supporting a very worthy cause.
In January 2013 a friend of mine was diagnosed bowel cancer and finished treatment after 2 operations at St Mark's Hospital, Harrow, in January 2014. Since then Paul has devoted part of his time and energy to raising funds for St Marks Hospital Foundation, for research into better treatments and cures for bowel diseases including Crohn's, colitis, IBS and cancer.
St Mark's is an NHS hospital but their research, education and training arm, St Marks Hospital Foundation, is a charity supported by grants and donations.
Having witnessed so many family and friends suffer, I am committed to joining Paul and his team in an effort to achieve in excess of £50,000 for St Mark's Hospital Foundation by cycling 280 miles over 3 and a half days.
We leave Hemel Hempstead on the 27th May heading North into Watton in Norfolk, through Old Harlow in Essex arriving in London on May 30th 2015.
Your right, I've never mentioned cycling before and my sense of direction is appalling...but I'm happy to go for it with your help, and the hope that through properly funded research St Marks can achieve life changing results.
Please join me in an effort to support such a worthy cause, help smash my personal target of £1500 and accept a great big thank you in advance for your kind generosity.
