Ho Chi Minh to Angkor Wat Cycle with Discover Adventure · 4 October 2014 to 15 October 2014 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Edit to add:
Done it!
550Km, no one badly damaged, some chafing, much soreness, few dodgy tummies, some cycling tourettes, 2 lost iPhones and 1 lost Go Pro but overall an absolutely fantastic and educational experience.
Thank you so much to everyone who has or is going to donate. Thus far you've donated £15,200 which will make a difference to Action Duchenne in their fight against this awful condition.
Thanks again,
Dave
I'm cycling with a group from work around 550Km from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Angkor Wat in Cambodia, starting on October 4th 2014. We're doing this to raise money for Action Duchenne. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a wasting disease which affects young boys, reducing their life expectancy to around 25 years.
We chose this charity because Nick's son, Sam, has a best friend, Toby who has Duchenne MD (See team page for more details). Also, Diane (my wife) works with the CommunityTherapy Services who treat children with Duchenne MD both in the community and at Hebden Green School.
Thank you for looking and thank you very much for any donations, however big or small. We're funding the trip ourselves and it doesn't matter which one of us you sponsor, all your donations will go to Action Duchenne.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks again,
Dave
