We fundraise for families & sick babies to give them practical & emotional support.

Story

On Saturday 16th April myself and several others will be taking part in a fitness session with a difference. A 50 minute “Joe Wicks” based HIIT workout on the hour every hour for 24 hours. Its taking place in the Eden shopping centre in High Wycombe and starts at 12.00 noon.

The reason i am doing this is to raise donations and awareness for a charity called SSNAP (support for the sick newborn and their parents) who are based in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. They were there for us when Joseph was born in May last year and helped us through some very traumatic times. I would love to give something back to them as a way of saying thank you from myself and my family and the best way i can see fit to do this is to push myself and others to our complete limits by taking on this challenge.

So please feel free to come down and cheer us on as any support given will be greatly appreciated by all.

Or, please if possible make an small donation and help me send them the biggest thank you possible.

In the UK, 1 in 10 babies need specialist care at birth. SSNAP supports sick & premature babies and their families in the Newborn Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Imagine your newborn baby needing specialist care at birth. Instead of those very special days getting to know your baby as a family, you’re catapulted into an unfamiliar world of incubators, wires, medical tests and interventions. While your baby has specialist treatment, we provide emotional and practical support to help you through the trauma & upheaval. We’re there to help families cope, and provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and nursing expertise that could save babies lives.
