Story
This year the RSPCA Manchester and Salford has seen more horrifying cases of cruelty than ever before, none more so than Buster the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. As you can see from the pictures, Buster was horrendously attacked and left for days without medical treatment. Despite all this, when Buster came into the branch's care he was still happy, friendly and affectionate towards people, and his case deeply affected all who got to know him.
They hoped and hoped for a happy ending for Buster, as they do for all their animals, but sadly it was not meant to be. Buster passed away whilst under anaesthetic, devastating the whole team of hardworking people who had cared for him. In his memory, I'd like to ask you to donate towards helping these amazing people rescue, rehabilitate and rehome more animals like Buster.
The RSPCA Manchester & Salford branch are not government funded and are an entirely separate charity to the National RSPCA. There are only three members of staff who run the animal side of the branch and their efforts are tireless and underappreciated. Please donate as much as you can.
