Story

In February 2014 I am returning to the UK as part of a relay team aiming to beat the world record for 100x100m to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma research. The Record attempt will take place on the 1st of February 2014 at Ponds Forge, Sheffield. The challenge itself will involve a relay team of 100 different swimmers each swimming 100m. The Record Currently stands at 1hour 37mins 53secs, which is an average of 58.7 seconds per swimmer, thats less than 14 seconds per length. The record attempting team will be made up of past and present GB international swimmers, past and present GB Olympians along with National standard club swimmers. Within the team will be Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth Medalists including Olympic Silver Medalist Michael Jamieson, Double Olympic Gold and Bronze Medalist Rebecca Adlington, Olympic Bronze Medalist Tom Daley, Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder Ruta Meilutyte and Olympic Gold Medalist Jess Ennis.
