We help our hospitals to go further

Story

I'm taking part in an event called Tough Mudder, on 12th May. Essentially a 12 mile assault course:

http://toughmudder.com/

This is a charity event, organised by my uni friend Dan Dowen. Sadly his Dad, Pete Dowen has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

In his name, Dan (a surgeon at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle Upon Tyne) and others have set up a research project at Freeman Hospital looking into pancreatic cancer treatment, which currently has a very poor prognosis & survival rate.

There are over 50 people taking part in our team, with a target of £150k.

The full details are on Dan's main page here:

Please sponsor me anyone who can!! Thank you all.
