Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, I am taking part in one stage of the Barton Wheelmore Cycle challenge.  The stage I am doing is the 71 mile stage from Ebsfleet to Cambridge.  Many will know that I have had 2 operations on my left knee in last 18 months and have had to retire from both football and running as well as my fitness deteriorating!  I have therefore bought a bike.  However 26 miles is furthest I have cycled so far and charity cycle is on 9 september!!  Its gonna hurt!

Success  - finished and felt great - such adrenelin rush.  Last 30 miles amazing when I knew I would make it unless disaster struck.  Weather glorios and perfect for cycle.  Organisation amazing.  Thank you to all who sponsored.  To Guy who cycled every yard with me and the girls who organised such a brilliant event.  So much money raised - fantastic!!

The royal marsden cancer charity is very important to me - as anyone who knows my family history will acknowledge. Please donate.  It all helps in finding a cure to this dradful disease and also to help those who suffer and are being treated in this wonderful hospital.
