In memory of Craig Gowans
We bring more than medicine to seriously ill children in hospital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our close friend Craig Gowans was a talented footballer who died tragically on 8th July 2005. We aim to break the Guinness World Record for the longest 11-a-side football match ever in his memory

The Craig Gowans Memorial Fund (CGMF) was established shortly after his death; it has thus far raised around £70,000 for a number of local charities, including The Sick Kids Friends Foundation and CHAS.

Craig’s squad number was 37, so on the 10th anniversary of Craig’s death, we hope to raise £37,000 for the CGMF in order to continue using Craig’s name as a force for good.

Make no mistake, this will be a extremely difficult challenge for myself and my fellow players (Craigy's family and close friends).  Any donation, small or large, will be greatly appreciated by myself, the team and especially Craigy's Family.

Now I need to get back to my training.

Many thanks,

Dazza x
