Thank you enormously for supporting us and I truly mean this as the 3 Peak Challenge is a tough affair.

Between May 12 and 13 2012, we will attempt to scale and descend Britain’s 3 highest peaks (Ben Nevis - Scotland, Scafell Pike - England and Snowdon in Wales) in less than 24 Hours all in aid of the COINS foundation. 

To put this into some perspective we will be walking a total distance of around 44 km / 27 miles with a total ascent of 9,800 feet / 3,000 meters. There are no specific walking routes to follow so we will have to navigate using maps and compass (and walk at least one peak at night) and that’s not mentioning the driving distance involved between each peak – this will be challenge on its own – particularly when fatigue sets in!

But recognising why we are doing this, we are supporting the COINS foundation as we have done on previous occasions for their worthy and admirable projects (please read this page link or go to www.coinsfoundation.org for more information).

Their overall aim this year on their ‘10th anniversary challenge year’ is to reach £250,000 of which our team needs to achieve a substantial £4,000. Therefore, we are putting all our faith in your generosity to ensure that this can be done!
