<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span lang="EN-GB" style="color: black; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">Esme had been ill for a while with terrible fevers and was finally diagnosed with the disease Haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis or HLH at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in May 2010.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-GB" style="color: black; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="color: black; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">Esme spent the next three months at GOSH having countless operations, tests and procedures. Tragically Esme wasn't strong enough to survive the treatment and her life support was turned off in the early hours of 15th July 2010. </span></span></span></span></p>
