Story

This is your chance to Donate to The Breakthrough breast cancer research, if you cannot afford to own this completly unique piece of artwork-"Boob-tiful" has been created by a group of ladies who had never met before but had spoken over the internet on a campsite forum.
www.nwcampers.co.uk

One of the ladies-Lynne (alias Pixierocket) had suffered with breast cancer a couple of years ago and had decided that this birthday was going to be one to remember!
She organised a meet of the campers last weekend at The Cottage Of Content, Bidford On Avon,Warwickshire to celebrate it.
Diane the artist who is auctioning the picture on ebay decided to try and raise money for Breakthrough Cancer research while we were there.
As she is an already established artist (http://www.dianetheartist.com) the obvious thing to do was a painting-thus the idea of a boob painting was born!
After a trial run at home (which Diane did and it was fun!) to make sure it was a feasable idea, she packed the paints and canvas into the caravan and looked forward to a funtime!
The ladies went to her little caravan to paint their own or each others boobs and place them onto the canvas.
Their ages ranged from just 7 to 64 years old.
It was quite surreal at times-up to 5 half naked women stood -boob in hand ready to paint or be painted for this cause!
If you could have been a fly on the wall!
And if we had got a video camera !!!!!

She had expected everyone to go in one by one but it turned out the general thought was we all have em so lets just do it!
The finished result is quite beautiful-and quite touching--3 of the ladies are survivors of breast cancer and used the affected breast to do their print.
We had great fun producing the painting-it also brought home that breast cancer can affect any age-the youngest sufferer was just 34.
The young girls that took part knew what the evening was all about and asked if they could be part of it-they will grow up being breast aware and because they also had fun it will remain with them so hopefully they will spread the word as well.
I want to thank all the good sports all got invloved in making this possible-well done girls x

As we dont all have the neccessary cash to buy this fantastic piece of art  I wanted to give everyone the chance to donate even if its only a little all helps.
